Youth Tour

Youth Tour Overview

Each year, CFEC selects 6 high school juniors from Dixie, Gilchrist, and Levy counties for an all-expenses paid tour of the state capital in Tallahassee. 3 of these students are then chosen to travel to Washington D.C.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible to apply, students must have CFEC as their electric provider.

Experience & Learning

During the Youth Tour, these CFEC juniors join approximately 2,000 other students representing Co-ops across the United States. The Youth Tour exposes students to new opportunities and teaches them about the cooperative business model and their democratic government.

Application Process

Applicants can submit their application via email or turn it in to their guidance counselor.
